The ACU Archery S.O.S. Hunter Elite is a tuned-mass damper designed to remove excess vibrations/sight picture movement out of your shot while you aim and execute.  This device uses the same technology that has been developed to stabilize skyscrapers against wind turbulence and earthquakes, medical devices used for surgery, and even in F1 cars for a short time before being deemed too much of an advantage for the racers. Just like no two buildings are the same, no two bows or shooters are the same either.  This means that finding the perfect spot for your S.O.S. is going to take some time and testing to find the exact location that gives you your best aim.  That being said, we have found a few common mounting locations that work as great balance points to help you get started. The S.O.S. Hunter Elite package includes the following:

  • One S.O.S. Wire Unit
  • One Mounting Bracket
  • One Quick Disconnect Mount
  • Various cap-head and button-head bolts for attachment options

I have not bought one for a while thinking its a gimmick product but i finally bought one and cant explain how for what it is but my pin float has went from slow to almost dead pin. I forgot i had put it kn and way trying to figure out what had changed on my bow. So in short it works for me and i wont shoot without it from here on out.

After installing the Acu Archery S.O.S. I shot my bow at the same 40yd distance as before having the S.O.S. and my groups were very noticeably smaller. I found that my pin did not bounce left to right like before. This is just with my hunting set up and a 10” stabilizer. No back bar. Noticeably tighter in that they were touching. I’m looking forward to seeing the impact on my TAC setup!

Great product. Thought it was just another marketing ploy but results said otherwise. I even noticed recovery from wind it was much faster for me to get back on target.
